Its custom 10-inch down-firing long-stroke woofer delivers impressive depth, punch and physical impact from a surprisingly compact enclosure, making it easy to integrate into modern living spaces without sacrificing the bass performance that brings a system to life.

500 Watts RMS – 1200 Watts Peak

A powerful Class D amplifier provides 500 watts of continuous RMS power and up to 1200 watts of peak output, giving the 10-inch woofer the control and headroom required for demanding low-frequency passages. Whether reproducing the impact of a movie soundtrack, the energy of electronic music or the texture of an acoustic bass, BERLIN SUB 10 has impressive reserves for such a compact design.

Down-Firing Woofer, Sealed Cabinet

The custom 10-inch long-stroke woofer is mounted underneath the cabinet, keeping the design clean and discreet while allowing the subwoofer to distribute its low-frequency energy effectively into the room. Combined with the sealed enclosure, this provides a solid acoustic foundation for fast, controlled and accurate bass reproduction. 

The carefully constructed MDF cabinet keeps unwanted resonances under control while the advanced DSP continuously optimises the behaviour of the driver. This allows BERLIN SUB 10 to play deeper and cleaner than its compact dimensions would normally suggest, without sacrificing speed or precision. 

Real Time Bass™ – Bass That Arrives at the Right Moment

Powerful bass is only convincing when it arrives in perfect time with the rest of the music. Excessive processing delay can make a conventional subwoofer sound slow or disconnected from the main speakers, even when it is capable of impressive low-frequency output. 

Real Time Bass™ is designed to minimise processing delay and keep BERLIN SUB 10 closely synchronised with your speakers. Bass transients remain fast and precisely timed, kick drums hit with greater punch and bass lines retain their rhythm and texture instead of becoming a slow, indistinct rumble. 

The result is a subwoofer that attracts less attention to itself. Instead of hearing a separate source producing bass, the entire system simply sounds larger, deeper and more complete. 

Speakermatch™ for Seamless Integration

One of the greatest challenges when adding a subwoofer is achieving a smooth transition between the main speakers and the subwoofer. Their frequency responses overlap around the crossover region, and if they are not properly matched the result can easily become uneven, boomy or disconnected. 

Speakermatch™ is designed to simplify this process. By taking your speaker type and crossover frequency into account, BERLIN SUB 10 can optimise its response to create a smoother and more natural transition between the speakers and subwoofer. Dedicated presets are also available for selected Argon Audio and Radiant Acoustics loudspeakers. 

Instead of sounding like an additional box producing low frequencies, a correctly integrated BERLIN SUB 10 becomes a natural extension of your main speakers. 

Room Optimisation with Advanced DSP

Every listening room influences bass reproduction. Walls, corners and room dimensions can reinforce certain frequencies while reducing others, which is why even an excellent subwoofer benefits from careful adjustment. 

BERLIN SUB 10 provides an adjustable 3-band notch filter EQ that allows problematic bass frequencies to be reduced for a smoother response in the listening position. Adjustable delay from 0.0 to 10.0 metres provides further control over time alignment, helping the subwoofer integrate accurately with the rest of the system. 

Combined with its adjustable crossover, advanced DSP platform and integrated display and controls, BERLIN SUB 10 gives you the tools needed to achieve powerful bass without sacrificing precision or balance. 

MATRIX Wireless™ – More Freedom in Placement

The best position for a subwoofer is not always the easiest place to run a signal cable. BERLIN SUB 10 therefore features built-in MATRIX Wireless™ capability, allowing the audio signal to be transmitted wirelessly when used with the optional MATRIX transmitter. 

MATRIX Wireless™ continuously monitors the wireless environment and automatically selects a stable connection, giving you considerably more freedom to position the subwoofer where it performs or looks best rather than simply where a cable can reach. Only a power connection is still required at the subwoofer.
