What's difference of WiiM Amp PRO, WiiM Amp, WiiM Ultra, WiiM Pro Plus and WiiM Pro? 

The WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp is a all-in-one streaming amplifier box, designed to provide both streaming capabilities and amplification to your passive speakers. It comes equipped with HDMI ARC, Sub Out and a USB port, enabling playback of local music via USB.

The WiiM Amp PRO has a cutting-edge ESS ES9038Q2M premium DAC and TI OP AMP and also supports the Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. 

The WiiM Amp has Airplay 2 on board, while the WiiM Amp Pro does not.

On the other hand, the WiiM Pro Plus and WiiM Pro are dedicated music streamers that require an external amplifier for operation. Unlike WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp, they do not feature the HDMI ARC, Sub Out or USB ports.

The WiiM Ultra is a premium streamer that has HDMI ARC and a premium 32-bit/384kHz ES9038 Q2M SABRE DAC, high fidelity headphone amplifier TPA6120A2 wich delivers outstanding audio clarity.

The WiiM Pro Plus and WiiM Pro have Airplay 2 on board, while the WiiM Ultra does not.

Can the WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp be connected to a powered speaker, soundbar, or multi-channel AV receiver? 

No. The WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp is equipped solely with speaker outputs, lacking the necessary analogue or digital outputs to connect to a powered speaker, soundbar, or AV receiver. For such connections, consider opting for the WiiM Ultra, Pro or Pro Plus models. 

Is the 60W/channel a peak or continuous power rating? 

The WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp delivers a continuous power of 60W per channel at an 8 ohms load, or 120W per channel at 4 ohms load, with both channels driven. 

Do I need to use banana plugs or a straight wire connection? 

Banana plugs are recommended for the best sound and more reliable performance. It also works with a straight wire connection. 

Is a separate music streamer like the WiiM Pro required to stream music to the WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp? 

No. The WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp has the built-in streaming component, making it an all-in-one solution with both streaming and amplification capabilities. 

Does the WiiM Amp PRO and WiiM Amp feature a headphone output for headphone connections? 

The WiiM Amp Pro and WiiM Amp do not have a dedicated headphone output. However, it can pair with Bluetooth headphones, serving as the Bluetooth music source for your listening convenience.
