The Essentials Damping Feet are soft, vibration-dampening self-adhesive pads for under your speakers. They are a smart accessory that provides better sound, especially if your speakers are placed directly on a wooden floor or shelf. Vibrations from the housing can then spread to the surface, which is bad for the sound quality. The Damping Feet effectively dampen these vibrations, and that is good news for you and your neighbors! They are also very useful if you do not want to use spikes on your wooden floor.

The Essentials Damping Feet also absorb the energy that returns from the surface, for example caused by movements of the speaker. So you can also use them for the sensitive components of your system, such as a CD player. The pads must be applied directly to the housing.

DIFFERENT FORMATS FOR DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS

The Essentials Damping Feet are available in different sizes to suit speakers in different weight classes. They are sold in packs of eight, which fits a pair of stereo speakers. The Single version is for one speaker (e.g. a subwoofer or center speaker) and contains four pads. The maximum load must not be exceeded, because the cushions will then deform and lose their sound-improving properties.
